Abstract

SUMMARY Alzheimer's disease (AD) and associated dementia (ADRD) are multifaceted conditions influenced by a diverse array of genetic and environmental contributors, affecting a significant population in the United States. Despite extensive investigation, the collective impact of pharmacological interventions (PI) and non-pharmacological interventions (NPI) on ADRD remains largely underexplored. Consequently, the principal objective of the main award is to devise translational informatics strategies to compile, standardize, and unveil the influence of PI and NPI candidates on AD/ADRD employing biomedical literature, supplemented by validation through animal models. This proposed administrative supplement project intends to augment the scope of our primary project by harnessing avant-garde technologies to tackle intricate scientific challenges using cloud computing resources. Our specific aims are: Aim 1. Extract relevant information from diverse modalities using LLMs for PANIA-KG, and maintain the data on cloud storage. Aim 2. Constructing an LLM-based RAG for PANIA-KG and deploying a user-friendly intelligent visual interface on Cloud Service.
