Abstract

Recent analyses indicate variations in colorectal cancer (CRC) presentation, including age at diagnosis, tumor location, and stage at diagnosis, across different patient populations. Comprehensive genomic characterization remains limited among many populations, highlighting the need to enhance resources and methodologies to better understand genomic factors influencing clinical variability. To achieve this the PEU implements optimized recruitment and retention methods for genomic research related to colorectal cancer. This effort aims to significantly expand participation in genomic research, employing scientifically rigorous methods and participant-informed strategies.
