Abstract

The Administrative Core of CREATE serves as the foundation for the Center’s operations, providing comprehensive oversight, strategic coordination, and seamless integration of activities across all cores and member institutions. It ensures effective management of program administration, regulatory compliance, inter-institutional communication, and collaboration with the other TMD IMPACT team by establishing an operational framework that fosters efficiency and innovation. This Core integrates members from the Bioinformatics and Data Science Core, the Outreach, Training, and Education Core, and the Clinical Studies Project, exemplifying CREATE’s commitment to cohesive inter-institutional collaboration. By implementing robust mechanisms for coordination, regulatory management, and knowledge dissemination, the Administrative Core aligns the Collaborative’s diverse efforts to achieve its ambitious goals in advancing transformative research in temporomandibular disorders (TMDs). Clear and consistent policies and procedures will be established to align with the Collaborative’s framework, including the facilitation and monitoring of progress toward program milestones and working with NIDCR programmatic staff in subsequent years; organizing and managing TMD IMPACT-related activities of the TMD IMPACT Executive Committee Through meticulous oversight of operations, agreements, data and biospecimen management, and interdisciplinary activities, the Administrative Core ensures that CREATE functions as a unified, dynamic entity capable of maximizing efficiency and impact, establishing its leadership in innovative TMD research.
