Abstract

ModelDB and Biomodels constitute two of the largest repositories of over 4000 biomedical computer models. These models describe biological processes in both diseased and non-diseased states that range from cancer to heart disease. The proposed work will examine these models in detail by leveraging modern AI techniques to extract information concerning the range of disease types, organism types and human related aspects to create the first comprehensive atlas that examines the distribution of research interests and funding sources. This will help the federal government plan future projects of interest to human health.
