Abstract

PROJECT SUMMARY The District of Columbia Clinical Trials Unit (DC CTU, 5UM1AI154466) works with the global clinical trials collaborative network known as the Advancing Clinical Therapeutics Globally for HIV and Other Infectious Diseases (ACTG). The purpose of this supplement is to provide support for data management leadership and expertise at the ACTG Data Management Center (DMC) at Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. (FSTRF) for the design of study data collection materials, ongoing data monitoring and reporting, data management training and support, and preparation of data sets for analysis for the studies undertaken by the ACTG at the DC CTU and other ACTG clinical research sites. This work is essential to the CTU and the ACTG in maintaining excellence in the design, conduct, and analysis of ACTG studies, and ensuring the safety of participants in these studies.
