Abstract

This award enables support for thirty attendees from HBCU’s representing broad functions at various levels responsible for implementing effective partnerships model in HBCU practice to help build critical mass in research and education in our nation’s HBCUs. HBCU Engage 2023 is a 2-day event that will be held in Nashville, TN and will include eight four-hour workshops. Funds are requested for travel costs for the event. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
