Abstract

This award supports travel expenses for junior scientists to the Quantum Materials Synthesis Workshop that will be held in April 2024 at Rice University. Graduate students and postdocs will be invited to participate and present their research in oral and poster presentations. In addition to creating a community of quantum materials synthesis researchers, this workshop will engage young scientists and allow them to shape the future of the field, while creating an opportunity to network and interact with established researchers. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
