Planning: CMMI Roadmapping

The Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Innovation division of NSF is continually exploring how to best execute its mission through supporting high impact research. Roadmapping efforts support research leadership and vision scoping. Through this grant, Nexight supports a roadmapping effort by providing planning, facilitation, and development support. Nexight directly facilitates the roadmapping workshop and documents findings. The ultimate result of this work enables the division to be effectively aligned and focused to best fulfill its charge. The specific activity includes a multi-day workshop with broad participation from division program officers and staff. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
