Abstract

The Southern Regional Algebra Conference (SRAC) will be held on April 4-6, 2025, on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 2025, SRAC will be held in conjunction with the Lloyd Roeling Conference in Algebra. The conference will provide for the dissemination, growth of, and collaboration in research in algebra in the Gulf Coast Region. It will support the mathematical and professional development of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty members at primarily undergraduate institutions. SRAC 2025 will feature talks on recent progress in focus areas well-represented in the region, including representation theory, Lie theory, and rings and modules. In addition, the conference will also host contributed talks across the broad mathematical area of Algebra in order to foster collaboration between distinct subfields. The website for the conference is https://userweb.ucs.louisiana.edu/~avm1260/srac2025.html. This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
