Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Mexico City will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov when its available. The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City - Facility Management Office (FAC), requires a vendor that can supply brand-new RIDGID specialized drain inspection and maintenance equipment at the New Embassy Compound (NEC). The acquisition of RIDGID inspection systems and water jetting equipment will enable FAC staff to perform in-house diagnostics and maintenance, significantly improving efficiency and service delivery. The equipment shall meet the following compatibility requirements: Pipe Size Compatibility: Capable of operating within drainage systems ranging from 1 1/4" to 10" diameter pipes, including main lines and branch lines. System Integration: Inspection cameras must be compatible with digital recording, storage, and data export functions, including Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi connectivity for transferring inspection data. Power Compatibility: Equipment must operate on standard commercial electrical systems (110�120V) and/or be self-powered (gas or battery-operated) for field use. Camera and Reel Interoperability: Inspection monitors, cameras, and reels must be fully compatible within the same manufacturer ecosystem (e.g., camera heads, reels, and monitors working seamlessly together). Software/Data Compatibility: Equipment must allow export of inspection images and video in commonly used formats for reporting and documentation purposes. Operational Environment: Equipment must be suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including wet, confined, and underground pipe environments. Service and Support Compatibility: Equipment must be supported locally in Mexico or through authorized distributors to ensure availability of parts, maintenance, and technical support. All items must be brand new and must match specific OEM part numbers and models. No substitutions will be accepted. Full specifications, part numbers, quantities, and delivery requirements will be provided in the RFQ upon solicitation launch. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a) Offerors must be registered in SAM at the time an offer is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror�s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, you are encouraged to complete the registration process and have an active account in sam.gov prior to proposal submission.
