Description

Statement of Work (SOW) Headache Center of Excellence Demountable Walls, Adaptive Lighting, and Sound System James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd Tampa, FL 33612 1.0 Background The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH) requires installation of a demountable wall system integrated with adaptive lighting and sound control technology to support clinical operations within the Headache Center of Excellence (HCoE). The HCoE provides care to Veterans experiencing chronic headaches, polytrauma, and traumatic brain injury conditions that cause heightened sensitivity to bright lighting, noise, and visual stimuli. Current clinic spaces rely on fixed, bright lighting that can exacerbate pain and limit Veterans ability to participate in clinical assessments and therapies. A controlled sensory environment is essential for reducing symptom triggers and improving clinical outcomes. The Vendor shall manage all ordering, shipment, installation, configuration, and debris removal related to the demountable wall system, adaptive lighting and sound equipment, and any associated furniture. 2.0 Purpose The purpose of this project is to install a demountable wall system equipped with healthcare appropriate adaptive lighting and sound control features. The upgraded system will allow clinicians to adjust environmental conditions to meet individual Veteran sensitivity levels, reducing light or noise induced discomfort and supporting therapies such as biofeedback, relaxation, and TBI related headache management. This project enhances patient comfort, improves safety, and aligns the HCoE environment with modern therapeutic standards for patients requiring specialized sensory control. 3.0 Statement of Work The Vendor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, installation, programming, and configuration required to deliver a complete demountable wall system with integrated adaptive lighting and sound components. All products shall meet VA clinical environment standards for cleanability, durability, and infrastructure compatibility.
