Description

To provide highly qualified postdoctoral fellows and other doctoral-level researchers currently in training in the NHLBI Division of Intramural Research with the opportunity to transition their research programs to extramural institutions as junior investigators.

Eligibility

Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Small businesses; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Private institutions of higher education; City or township governments; Special district governments; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; State governments; Independent school districts; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); County governments; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities
