Description

This Funding Opportunity Announcement is intended to identify and support research projects by exceptionally promising Early Stage Investigators with a long-term career interest in pursuing innovative research in genomics. This opportunity is open to research in all areas relevant to the mission of NHGRI, including genomic sciences, genomic medicine, genomic data science, and ethical, legal, and social implications of genomics.

City or township governments; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; State governments; County governments; Small businesses; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Independent school districts; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Private institutions of higher education; Special district governments; For profit organizations other than small businesses
