Description

Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) encourages grant applications to support research in cancer epidemiology cohort studies that address specific knowledge gaps in cancer etiology and survivorship. Applications should include hypothesis-based research, support for cohort infrastructure and/or maintenance, continued follow-up, and sharing of data and biospecimen resources as appropriate.

Special district governments; Independent school districts; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); City or township governments; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Private institutions of higher education; Small businesses; State governments; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); County governments
