Description

The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH. The overarching goal of this NIH Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) program is to support educational activities that increase understanding of biomedical research among pre-college (pre-kindergarten to grade12) individuals, and to encourage awareness of and continued interest in careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Eligibility

Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; County governments; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Special district governments; Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Small businesses; City or township governments; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; State governments; Independent school districts; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Private institutions of higher education
