Description

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support innovative basic, clinical, translational, and implementation science research relevant to HIV and substance use. This initiative encourages high risk high impact transformative studies that advance knowledge and strategies for HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment and virus suppression in people who use substances and/or have a substance use disorder.

City or township governments; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Private institutions of higher education; Independent school districts; Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; County governments; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Special district governments; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; Small businesses; State governments; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments)
