Description

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity is to address the needs of the maternal and pediatric HIV scientific community for research data translation and sharing.This initiative will support secondary data analyses using archived HIV/AIDS data and specimens. The goal of this initiative is to encourage the scientific community to utilize HIV/AIDS archived data sets and specimen collections to answer important questions about the epidemiology, pathogenesis, treatment, clinical manifestations, and HIV-associated co-infections and co-morbidities in maternal, pediatric and adolescent populations.

Eligibility

Small businesses; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Special district governments; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Private institutions of higher education; City or township governments; State governments; County governments; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Independent school districts
