Description
See RFQ Document and SOW within for complete Description. Title of project: Trauma and Crime Scene Clean Up Contract - Cleveland, OH and surrounding area. Purpose of the project: VA Northeast Ohio Health Care system is looking to procure as needed services for Trauma/Crime scene Clean-up when needed for the entire health care system. Contract vehicle will be a firm-fixed price IDIQ. Background: Following a suicide, violent death, or severe accident, the removal of biohazardous materials, such as blood, human remains (tissue and bone fragments), and other contaminants, must occur on varied surfaces. The clean-up and decontamination of these locations is called trauma scene clean-up (also referred to as crime scene clean-up*). These are general terms used to describe the cleaning of blood, human remains, or any biohazardous material following an incident that results in environmental contamination.
