Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to fulfil a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for: VISN 20 requires a Weight-Based Inventory Supply System (WBIMS) brand name or equal to PAR Excellence. This procurement will include supply cabinets, related parts, and Software Licenses for various facilities throughout VISN 20. Supply Cabinets, parts and Software must work with the integrated system currently owned by VISN 20. Vendor will ensure system is fully operational and ensure system communications are intact. Participating Locations: Alaska VA Healthcare System: 1201 North Muldoon Road, Anchorage, AK 99504 Eugene Health Care Center: 3355 Chad Dr., Eugene, OR 97408 VA Portland Health Care System: 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Road, Portland, OR 97239 Roseburg VA Health Care System: 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg, OR 97471 VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center: 8495 Crater Lake Hwy., White City, OR 97503 VA Puget Sound Health Care System - American Lake Division: 9600 Veterans Dr Southwest, Tacoma, WA 98493 VA Puget Sound Health Care System: 1660 S. Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108 Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center: 4815 N. Assembly Street, Spokane, WA 99205 Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center: 77 Wainwright Drive, Walla Walla, WA 99362 Specifications for WBIMS: Must be weight based Must be easily calibrated and accurate Will provide real time visibility to secondary inventory locations Must be able to interface with GIP package in IFCAP Must be capable of tracking, adjusting, and reporting comprehensive real time information pertaining to the inventory of a secondary location Depletion of stock will trigger pick tickets based on PAR levels, Re-order points, and Emergency Stock Levels Software & Software Licensing must be intuitive and easy to train on Software & Software Licensing must be able to utilize multiple users with different levels of permissions Must be able to handle a wide range of products based on size, thickness, and weight Must work with the current VHA IT system Locations may be on site at the main facility campuses (listed above) or at one of VISN 20 s Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
