Description

The 673d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Ricardson (JBER), Alaska, intends to award a firm fixed price, sole-source purchase to TACMED SIMULATION INC., 1250 Harris Bridge Road, Anderson, SC 29627 under the authority of RFO 12.102(a) (Restricting competition) and RFO 12.201-1 (Simplified procedures). The proposed contract action is for the purchase of a canine medical trainer that must provide a realistic, advanced simulation platform that allows working dog handlers, veterinarians, trainers, and first responders to practice critical canine Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC K9) and emergency medicine. The trainer must support realistic hands-on training for canine medical emergencies, including airway management and realistic wound care. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation is available. The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations who believe they have the ability to provide the required product may submit their capabilities and qualifications in writing to brendon.yellott@us.af.mil NLT 2:00 PM AKDT, Monday, 14 September 2026. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, basd upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No request for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
