Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southern Nevada VA Healthcare System, intends to award a firm-fixed-price, sole source contract to Technical Safety Services (TSS) for specialized cleanroom certification, environmental monitoring, and testing services required for multiple pharmacy and compounding areas within the medical center. TSS is the only known vendor capable of providing all required semi annual, annual, and monthly testing services in accordance with USP <797>, USP <800>, CETA standards, and VA healthcare performance requirements. These services include airflow and leak testing, particle counting, airflow visualization studies, viable air and surface sampling, room pressure and air exchange verification, laminar flow unit and isolator certification, and preparation of formal compliance documentation. The integrated nature of these services requires a vendor with established expertise, calibrated instrumentation, and the ability to perform testing without disrupting critical pharmacy operations. Based on the Government s market research and previous performance history, no other vendor has demonstrated the ability to meet all required service frequencies, technical specifications, compliance standards, and facility specific operational needs. Estimated Contract Value: Total Estimated Value: $164,396.48 CATEGORY: RESPONSE FROM INTERESTED BUSINESSES Businesses that believe they are capable of providing the required services may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet all technical, regulatory, and performance requirements described in this notice. Interested businesses must provide the following information: Company Name, UEI Number, and Business Size Classification (e.g., SDVOSB, VOSB, small business, etc.). Evidence of Technical Capability, including: Demonstrated experience performing USP <797> and <800> compliant testing. Documentation showing CETA-compliant certification capabilities. Proof of calibrated instruments and ability to conduct all service categories listed in the Base and Option Year schedules. Past Performance, specifically for VA medical centers, DoD facilities, or other hospital cleanroom environments. Ability to Meet Required Frequencies and Scope, including semi annual, annual, and monthly testing. Statement of Availability, confirming your ability to perform services onsite in Southern Nevada. Any Additional Supporting Evidence demonstrating why your business can fully meet the Government s needs.
