Underground Utility Locating Services

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12C0BA26Q0010 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for underground utility locating services. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and transportation necessary to locate, identify, mark and digitize in Computer Aided Design (CAD) format the underground utilities located on the grounds at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC) and the U.S. National Arboretum (USNA) for areas noted by the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR). This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 541370 Surveying and Mapping (except Geophysical) Services. The small business size standard is $19.0 million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
