The Network Contracting Office (NCO-10) is seeking vendors to perform the following services, Hazardous Waste Pickup and Disposal Services at the Cleveland VA Medical Center and its supported Community Based Outreach Clinics (CBOCs). This is a Sources Sought to seek capable sources and request industry feedback ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Interested parties are asked to answer questions below AND submit capability statement that clearly and convincingly identifies their ability to fulfill the requirements. As part of market research, this Sources Sought is to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing the requirement. Industry feedback to the information below is requested to ensure the VA has not created a �defacto sole source� requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. DRAFT SCOPE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of Hazardous Waste and Disposal Services at the Cleveland VA Medical center and a number of community-based outreach clinics throughout Northeast Ohio, Central Ohio and Northwest Ohio. Vendor to provide on-site support, packaging, transporting, and ultimate destruction of hazardous waste. The estimated hazardous waste disposal volume is approximately 68,000 to 75,000 pounds per year. This estimate is provided solely for informational and market?research purposes, and the forthcoming solicitation will include a refined and more accurate workload estimate based on updated facility data. We are proposing a Base + 4 (1-year) Option Periods contract for this requirement. Please see next page.
