Description
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to provide depot-level test and repair of the ALR-56M Power Supplies. The National Stock Numbers (NSN) and Part Numbers (PN) are as follows: Item NSN PN Power Supply, LOW VOLTAGE (PS1) 6130-01-381-3231EW 330454-104 Power Supply, LOW VOLTAGE (PS1) 6130-01-591-9810EW 330454-107 Power Supply, LOW VOLTAGE (PS2) 6130-01-408-3805EW 330454-106 Power Supply, LOW VOLTAGE (PS2) 6130-01-407-5312EW 330454-105 Power Supply, LOW VOLTAGE (PS3) 6130-01-362-0928EW 330454-103 Crane designed, tested, manufactured, and maintained custom power supply solutions including Low Voltage Power Supplies (LVPSs), High Voltage Power Supplies (HVPSs), and high-powered amplifiers for weapon systems aboard airborne platforms. Their power supplies are incorporated into critical Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, including the AN/ALQ-184, AN/ALR?56C, and AN/ALQ?131, demonstrating high quality and exceptional reliability to function effectively for the American and Allied Warfighter. Crane has extensive experience and know-how providing power supplies for the ALR-56M requirements. The service shall include providing obsolete parts resolution along with the necessary engineering to investigate Deficiency Reports and Material Improvement Projects (MIPs). The ALR-56M Power Supplies must meet form, fit, function, and interface requirements as referenced in per 12P3-2ALR56M-24. However, the Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to compete the repair of this part. It has been determined to be uneconomical to reverse engineer the data, qualify a new source, or buy the data and/or data rights. Crane is the only source of known repair for this system and has been since it was fielded.
