Description

The 30th Contracting Squadron (30 CONS/PKB) at Vandenberg SFB, CA, is conducting market research to identify capable sources for a combined commercial supply and service requirement at Titan Dorm (Building 13135). Products Required: 88 Twin XL Bunkable Bedframes: Solid hardwood/hardwood veneer construction, durable institutional finish, tool-less/hook assembly, integrated wire spring support, designed to seat 38" x 80" mattresses. 88 Twin XL Innerspring Mattresses: Finished dimensions 38" x 80" x 8"�11", firm, reversible, heavy-duty innerspring coils with continuous border wire butt-welded for perimeter edge support, institutional fluid-proof/bedbug-resistant ticking, fully compliant with 16 CFR Part 1632 and 16 CFR Part 1633. Services & Facility Constraints: Inside Delivery & Assembly: Unloading, staging, full assembly, placement, and leveling across 44 rooms (two standalone, unbunked beds per room; rooms measure 8' x 8'). Complete removal and off-base disposal of all packing debris. De-Installation & Haul-Away: Dismantle, remove, and transport 44 existing Full XL bedframes and mattresses from Building 13135 to the base warehouse facility. Multi-Story Stairwell Access (No Elevators): Building 13135 has no passenger or freight elevators. All new items must be manually carried up stairwells (clear stairwell width: 36.5 inches), and all removed assets must be manually carried down stairwells. Critical Schedule Feasibility Meeting the required project timeline is critical. Full building access is available 1 October 2026. Target/desired installation completion date is 16 November 2026. Mandatory Final Completion Date: All delivery, full assembly, and removal services must be 100% complete NO LATER THAN (NLT) 4 December 2026. Responders must explicitly state their manufacturing lead time and provide written confirmation of their ability to guarantee on-site delivery and completed installation by 4 December 2026. If unable to meet this date, vendors must provide their absolute earliest guaranteed completion date. Submission Details & Optional ROM Interested vendors are requested to submit a brief capability statement addressing: Schedule Feasibility: Confirmation of guaranteed completion NLT 4 December 2026 and total lead time from award. Technical Compliance: Brief confirmation that offered products meet the salient characteristics. Logistics Capability: Confirmation of ability to execute multi-story manual stairwell carries without elevator support. Contract Vehicles & Socio-Economic Status: Company name, CAGE, SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), business size standard under NAICS 337121/337122, and any active GSA MAS contracts. Optional Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM): Vendors are encouraged to submit an optional, non-binding ROM breakdown covering: 88 Bedframes 88 Mattresses Freight to Vandenberg SFB (Zip 93437) On-site assembly, staging, and leveling labor De-installation, haul-away, and warehouse delivery labor
