Laminar Floor Hood Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolators (CACI)

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Issued May 2, 2025 (Updated March 16, 2026). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) number 36C24826Q1199 for Laminar Floor Hood Compounding Aseptic Containment Isolators (CACI) at VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) facilities located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This notice incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01 effective March 13, 2026. This acquisition is small business set aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 800 employees. The PSC is 6515, Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. The contract period of performance is expected to be from September 30, 2026, to January 29, 2027. The Government intends to negotiate and award a single Requirements Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract under the authority of RFO Part 12. The solicitation is being conducted using the policies and procedures of RFO Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Solicitation provisions and contract clauses that apply to the acquisition are provided in the attached RFQ along with detailed specifications, requirements and an attached addendum of the instructions to offerors. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses by reference.
