Description
The contractor shall perform thirty-eight (38) National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) VE inspections on unfired pressure vessels throughout Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX. The contractor shall provide all labor, services, materials and transportation required to perform VE inspections on pressure vessels across the locations listed below. The goal of this effort is to comply with AFI 32-1068, Heating Systems and Unfired Pressure Vessels and with the Association of American Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code which state that unfired pressure vessel inspections (Type VE) will be performed every three years. Locations: Multiple building across Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Texas as indicated below. 1. JBSA - Lackland AFB 2. JBSA - Ft. Sam Houston 3. JBSA - Randolph AFB This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with RFO part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA301626Q0146 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for a commercial VE Pressure Vessel Inspection Service for small business concerns.
