Description
Amendment 6: Adding some clarifcations. Q1: The airfield markings scope says to reference UFC 3-260-04 Chapter 6 for standards. Within that guideline, there are several options listed under the material selection in Chap 6, Section 3-3.3. The types range from Type I, Type II, Type III, Type IVa & Type IVb. While Type I is the most common for this project application, will you please clarify which type is required for this project? A1: From researching the different glass bead options and receiving feedback from the Airfield Manager, the government is requesting that the contractors provide pricing for two options. The first is using Type I glass beads. The second is using Type III glass beads. Both of these options work with Type I, II, or III paints. Q2. Is there a place on 126th property where this waste can be dumped and staged for a short period to reduce the travel time of the vac truck? Or shall we plan on hauling everything off base right away? A2: With regards to a second question, the contractors can plan to use an area near the TDY parking lot to dump and stage removed paint debris from the vac truck. Loading out directly will not be necessary. Please see the uploaded screenshot of the TDY parking lot. Amendment 5: By request, uploading the offical site visit sign-in (this does not include those who attended ad hoc visits) Amendment 4: Added second round of questions and answers. Amendment 3: The correct Notice ID for this solicitation is W50S7S26Q0031. Please include this in the quote and subject line of any emails. Amendment 2: Calrifying that NO bid bonds are required. Amendment 1: Added grid and questions and answers. The 126 Air Refueling Wing has a requirement for comprehensive repairs to the concrete apron, asphalt shoulders, and airfield markings.
