Description
The purpose of this initiative is to advance the science of minority health and health disparities by supporting research on family health and well-being and resilience. The NIMHD Research Framework recognizes family health, family well-being, and family resilience as critically important areas of research to decrease disparities and promote equity.
Eligibility
State governments; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; County governments; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); For profit organizations other than small businesses; Special district governments; Independent school districts; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Private institutions of higher education; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); City or township governments; Small businesses; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
