Description

This Funding Opportunity Announcement is intended to identify and support research projects by exceptionally promising Early Stage Investigators with a long-term career interest in pursuing innovative research in genomics. This opportunity is open to research in all areas relevant to the mission of NHGRI, including genomic sciences, genomic medicine, genomic data science, and ethical, legal, and social implications of genomics.

Eligibility

Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; County governments; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Private institutions of higher education; City or township governments; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Independent school districts; State governments; Special district governments; Small businesses
