Description

The purpose of the NIDCD Research Career Enhancement Award for Established Investigators (K18) program is to enable established, proven investigators to augment or redirect their research programs through the acquisition of new research skills to answer questions relevant to the hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, speech and language sciences.

Eligibility

Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Private institutions of higher education; Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; State governments; County governments; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Small businesses; Special district governments; City or township governments; Independent school districts
