Description

The purpose of the NIDCD Research Career Enhancement Award for Established Investigators (K18) program is to enable established, proven investigators to augment or redirect their research programs through the acquisition of new research skills to answer questions relevant to the hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, speech and language sciences.

Eligibility

Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; County governments; Independent school districts; Small businesses; Special district governments; State governments; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; City or township governments; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Private institutions of higher education; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
