Description

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support innovative basic, clinical, translational, and implementation science research relevant to HIV and substance use. This initiative encourages high risk high impact transformative studies that advance knowledge and strategies for HIV prevention, diagnosis, treatment and virus suppression in people who use substances and/or have a substance use disorder.

Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); County governments; For profit organizations other than small businesses; State governments; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; City or township governments; Special district governments; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Independent school districts; Small businesses; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Private institutions of higher education
