Description
The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to invite applications for the Centers for AIDS Research (CFAR) and Developmental Centers for AIDS Research (D-CFAR) programs to provide administrative and shared research support to enhance HIV/AIDS research. CFARs provide infrastructure, expertise, resources, and services not readily obtained through other funding mechanisms. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration across all areas of HIV/AIDS research.
Eligibility
Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Public and State controlled institutions of higher education; For profit organizations other than small businesses; Special district governments; Independent school districts; Private institutions of higher education; Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized); City or township governments; Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments); Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities; Small businesses; Others (see text field entitled "Additional Information on Eligibility" for clarification); County governments; State governments
