Abstract

MICROANALYTICS CORE – PROJECT SUMMARY The goal of the Microanalytics Core is to support the Projects by providing standardized, high-throughput cryopreserved cell sample thawing, QC, and highly multiplexed multi-omic single cell analysis. To allow for optimal integration of data across the projects and of experimental batches within the projects, and cost efficiency, the centralization of these services to the Microanalytics Core, C3, will ensure consistency between experimental batches and the optimal batch sizes for maximal reagent utilization. The core is led by Andrew J. Martins, PhD, with Co-Investigators Liza Konnikova, MD PhD, and John S. Tsang, PhD. Drs. Martins and Tsang have worked extensively together on multi-omics projects with large numbers of human samples, including those of small samples from children and cord blood samples, and Dr. Konnikova has expertise in utilizing micro- sampling of blood from neonates for both single cell RNAseq and CyTOF analysis. Dr. Martins will guide core staff, with input from Drs. Konnikova and Tsang, to provide these services to the projects for maximal utilization of the project’s precious samples of children and neonates.
