Abstract

ABSTRACT Support is requested for a Keystone Symposia conference entitled Antibodies as Drugs: Innovative Formats, Design and Engineering organized by Drs. Jean-Philippe Julien and Katherine Harris, with scientific programming input from Keystone Symposia. The meeting will take place February 17–20, 2025 at Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado, USA. Antibodies have recently emerged as a mainstay therapeutic modality; new formats, combinations, and innovative delivery methodologies promise to expand their reach to more diverse disease indications. This meeting will showcase trailblazing approaches in the design and engineering of novel biologic modalities and their impacts in pre-clinical development and outcomes in the clinic, especially for cancer, infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases and diseases of the central nervous system. In addition to leading scientific sessions, the conference will feature broader discussions around 1) an evolving landscape of regulatory considerations for new biologics, and 2) the impact that Artificial Intelligence and machine learning technologies are having in the field. Additionally, this conference will be held at the same time and location as another Keystone Symposia conference, Drug Delivery to the Brain: Emerging Modalities, which will offer the unique opportunity for distinct scientific communities with related interests to share cross-disciplinary insights and encourage new collaborations towards novel treatment and delivery modalities that can be applied to prevent, treat, and cure a multitude of diseases.
